Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How many people are on a team?

    2. Two fishers per team

  2. Do I have to provide my own boat?

    3. Yes, you must provide your own boat, motor, life vests, fuel, and anything necessary to participate in the tournament

  3. When does registration close?

    4. We accept registration until 7 am the morning of the tournament. You can pay cash or check upon arrival.


  4. How do I win?

    5. Step 1 is to join Team Schnitzy. Step 2 is to give your pole to Wally. Step 3...just kidding!

    You win the tournament by catching the longest musky and taking a picture with it along with a copy of the tournament day's newspaper - we know the company we keep, and have to work to keep ourselves honest!

  5. What if no one catches a musky that day

    6. Then the musky win the tournament! We do not go to the next largest fish of a different species. This is Muske Nutz for gosh sake!
